Thank you for choosing Sarlina Events for your event stylist. By using our website, booking our event styling services, or hiring our event decor and equipment, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for both Sarlina Events and our clients to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
Payment: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure the date for the event. If deposit payment and signed terms and conditions are not received, your event is not confirmed and Sarline Events will have the right to refuse your tentative booking. The remaining 50% is due one week before the event. Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or credit card.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. Client will be also charged an additional 10% of the entire value amount as cancellation fee (incl. GST). All payments made will be held and used as a credit to go towards another product or service we offer. This credit does not expire and can be redeemed at any time that Sarlina Events is available. For all change of mind (incl. financial hardships & loss of job) – no refunds will be made.
Changes to Services: Changes to the scope of services requested by the client may incur additional charges. Sarlina Events will provide an estimate of any additional fees before making any changes.
Prop Damages: If any prop or flower is broken/ damaged, client will have to pay all fees to repair it to its original condition or replace it if necessary. Sarlina Events will issue out an invoice for any damage incurs and client is entitled to pay in full and within the time frame provided by Sarlina Events. If you go outside these terms and conditions you will be held responsible for breach of contract.
Bump In and Out: The client agrees to provide a reasonable amount of time for Sarlina Events to set up and tear down the event space. The exact amount of time required will be determined by the size and complexity of the event, and will be agreed upon by both parties prior to the event. Surcharge will apply if bump out extends past 11pm. Client will be charged extra fees if there’s no available loading dock nearby, or we need to pass via stairs, elevators, escalators or steep descent. You’re also liable to reimburse any parking fees might occur during the day.
Liability: Sarlina Events is not responsible for any damages or losses incurred during the event, including but not limited to property damage, injury, or loss of personal items. Clients are responsible for obtaining their own insurance to cover any potential liabilities.
Design Ownership: Sarlina Events retains ownership of all designs, concepts, and other intellectual property created during the course of the project.
Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and timely feedback to Sarlina Events. Failure to do so may result in delayed or incomplete services, and additional fees may be incurred.
Termination: Sarlina Events reserves the right to terminate services at any time if the client breaches any above term(s), fails to provide accurate information or timely feedback, or engages in conduct that is disrespectful or abusive towards Sarlina Events or its employees. In the event of termination, the client remains responsible for paying any outstanding fees due for services rendered up to the point of termination. It means payments (except for 50% deposit) maybe refunded but is depended on purchase of stock and other costs have occurred during preparation. Sarlina Events will not be liable for any damages or losses incurred as a result of the termination of services.
The above terms and conditions have been put in place to protect our business and our clients and must be considered before booking with Sarlina Events. Once you have signed these terms and conditions, you have entered in an official legal binding contract with Sarlina Events and you will be held responsible if there are any breaches of contract. If in the case of breach of contract, Sarlina Events have the legal right to engage with legal action to resolve these breaches. Legal fees may apply to you.
